Cocktail Gold Ring with 3 Rows of Diamonds

Relive the opulence of the past with this  vintage French  cocktail ring from the 1940s.  Designed in 18K yellow gold, the ring has 4 thick rounded bands of gold supporting 3 rows of 15 old mine cut diamonds of varying sizes. Each row has 5 diamonds in an open prong setting, with the largest diamond in the center row being approx. 0.75 ct., tapering down to 0.02 at the ends of the outside rows.  The ring weighs 16.70 gms. It is a testament to the glory days of French cocktail ring designs, unlike anything being manufactured today! This ring is in very good condition.
